5 views of the USS CUMBERLAND
This is my design for a planetary nuclear powered spaceship that will take a 6 man crew to the Saturn system for a 4 year mission. The construction of this ship will take place in LEO (low earth orbit). After completion of the ship the Cumberland will travel on an interplanetary flight that will take its crew past Mars, the asteroid belt, and then past Jupiter to its final destination Saturn. The ship has 2 Landers that will hold a crew of 2 to explore 2 of the moons of Saturn. This ship does have similarity to the USS Discovery1 made famous in the movie (2001: A Space Odyssey).
