Artist's Description
The crew of the Lander Olympus sets up its base camp in Ares Vallis. The five man crew will stay on Mars for three months before returning to its mother ship (The USS Shenandoah) orbiting the planet. Because of new technologies mainly the propulsion system used for the trip (VASIMR) the trip to Mars take a little over 40 days from earth.
